Check out this news bite. There's a bill up in congress, SB 5412, that calls for biometric driver's licenses.

This means, whenever you apply for a driver's licence, you'll have to not only give them a fingerprint, but also another form of biological identification... probably retinal scan.

This way if there's an error made in either process, you can legally be up for search or further investigation. The government can jack your shit and there isn't anything you can do about it... 'cept sit there and pray to God they don't find the balloon of heroine you have hidden in your ass.

The problem and my suspicion with this added identity qualifier, is the insane margin of error. Its by no means near 100% accurate, and is simply a loophole so the fuzz can confiscate my grass. And to that I say... Fuuuuck this...

And an added note, it reminds me of some creepy science fiction book.

No doubt this all has some connection with that bullshit Patriot Act agenda.

Think its fucked up?? Type a quick email letter to your senator, but make sure you refer to SB 5412... it makes staffer's jobs alot easier, and they'll know what you're talking about.

Just tell them you think its fucked up, and you oppose biometric driver's licences... refer to the ACLU if you want, because they're the ones that are spearheading the protest.. and it gives clout. Emails like this remind politicians who they're working for, and they should hear whats up from the people that elect their punkasses.
